Digital Marketing. It’s a fairly broad term. So what do we mean by it and what does it consist of? Well we’ve done our best to map out the disciplines as simply and clearly as possible. Take a peek and then I’ll do a bit more explaining below.
Marketing tends to fall into three main categories – acquisition, retention and brand. We’ve focused on the two former in the interests of keeping things simple.
What we’ve tried to demonstrate here is roughly how different digital channels connect. There are a lot of blurred lines and it varies a lot from sector to sector and company to company, but this should show you the breadth of the market and the variety of specialisms which exist within digital marketing.
