Online Marketing Manager – Nordics

Job Description Online Account Manager (Nordics)
Reports to: Acquisition Director

Purpose The Account Manager (AM) has responsibility for marketing management, optimisation and reporting for ADV + AFF + COB channels in the respective markets.
The AM co-works with the online team and local Business Development manager to optimise current partners and source and test new opportunities. The AM has support from a digital executive, but has sole responsibility of channel performance and growth plans. He/she is working locally but has regular communication with BD to test new partners, size growth opportunities (AFF + Mobile) but not exclusive to these channels. Flexibility is expected if and when different opportunities arise. Key responsibilities, tasks and activities:

1 Media Monthly/Quarterly media plan development with Acquisition Director:

  • Supporting the Regional Hub’s acquisition targets (Sole responsibility of monthly acquisition targets)
  • Management of Channels: ADV + AFF + COB:
  • Day to day management of all partners (Bookings, run-rates, optimization, reporting)
  • Month end reporting: conversion / ROI / finance
  • Maintain regular contact with all partners for optimization, negotiation of rates, trends etc. Translations for Nordics creative (FI support will be available)
  • AB testing – creative + landing pages. Work alongside webmaster to create testing roadmap and regular presentation of results
  • Share testing insights with the broader team ON/OFF + HQ o Share best practices with HQ SEM team on copy / landing page testing
  • Taking own initiatives to further develop and strengthen the Regional Hub’s Media Plan

2 Budget, Business Plan and legal:

  • Responsible for delivering monthly budget – Spend / acquisitions / ROI
  • Assist Acquisition Director in monthly forecasting – detailed analysis on channel
  • Assist Acquisition Director for reporting mid and month end results, testing insights on monthly business review calls
  • Legal compliance of all marketing material – copy / tone of voice / offers / user journey – Control and follow-up of budgeted costs on a monthly basis.

Education, experiences & skills:

1 Education & Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Business Administration or Marketing

2 Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year’s work experience from working with direct consumer acquisition in related digital B2C business is needed

3 Knowledge & skills:

  • Excellent numerical skills, ability to clean, analyse and present data to drive actionable insights
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner
  • Excellent excel skills for campaign set-up, cost reporting & analysis (bulk uploads, pivot tables & data representation – trend charts / tables…)
  • Good knowledge of campaign set-up tools – creative tools, ad-servers, landing page A/B testing, tracking software, bid-managers etc.
  • Strong communications skills – for both internal and external stake holders
  • Experience and knowledge of digital B2C business
  • Good knowledge of the local media landscape – Extensive experience of metrics oriented reporting (KPIs + different conversion metrics)
  • A proven track record of minimum for 1 years of performance marketing experience (display planning/buying or SEM)
