SEO – Travel

The overall purpose of this role is to support the Organic team in increasing the levels of organic search visitors to. You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition in order to achieve annual business objectives and targets.
The role will be dedicated to driving organic channel performance through the day to day management of products (channels) by implementing Organic strategy to increase organic search engine visibility.
The role will drive the recommendations of the Organic Performance data and technical analysts, and will play a vital part in supporting Integrated Campaigns (ICM) to drive organic search performance across core channels.
The role will involve working within a team of search experts and integrating with a diverse range of disciplines across marketing including content, PR, brand, social and commercial teams.


Channel Management

• Being accountable for channel performance versus targets
• A key driver of the Organic Performance data and technical teams recommendations to drive channel performance
• Responsible for ensuring the development of channels follow SEO best practice, ensuring that organic search hygiene factors are monitored and managed accordingly
Campaign Management –
• Driving the overall Organic Performance strategy by ideating new and innovative campaigns
• Developing and owning a campaign execution plan – working with wider marketing stakeholders to ensure risks have been considered and mitigated where required
• Setting campaign objectives /KPI’s for campaigns to be held account to and ensuring they are delivered
• Campaign reporting and measurement to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and to share learnings with the wider Organic Performance team to drive performance and efficiencies
• Briefing video, creative and assets where required
• Stakeholder management – liaising with Brand, PR, Content, Social, CRM, and PPC teams

• Supporting the Organic Performance technical team with on-going audits and driving the subsequent recommendations
• Backlink management using third party dashboards to minimalize risk
• Utilising tools such as Hitwise, Linkdex, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics

• Give support and direction to Search Executives within the channel team
• Work closely with Organic performance Managers to plan channel work for Search Executives


• Responsible for driving channel performance against company annual budget
• Support Organic Performance Managers with stakeholder expectation management
• Represent your channel across PR, Social and Content planning
• Support the management of external agencies and third party service providers.
• Support risk assessment for on-going website decisions and change management
• Delivery of progress reports to Organic Performance Managers
• Delivery of performance against set KPI’s and personal annual objectives

Skills & Experience

• Degree level education
• Up to 1 years’ experience in an search marketing specific role
• Intermediate level knowledge of SEO technical and on-page best practice
• Understanding of web programming languages/technologies including HTML
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven record in supporting digital marketing campaigns to drive organic search performance
• Proven track record providing ROI and achieving targets in a competitive market
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce high quality reports
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers
• Proven record in working as part of a team and as an individual
• Familiarity with wider marketing disciplines and how they impact organic search
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
